Love your town

Three years ago a friend and business partner brought us to Kernville, while in California for a business trip. We found it to be a very friendly, homey town and a very relaxing place to visit. We love joining in conversations at Cheryl’s Diner, where you can get to know several local towns people. The Kernville Inn is decorated so country and welcomes you with very comfortable beds!

This year we had another business trip to Palm Springs, and made sure we drove to Kernville to spend a night. Again, it was such a pleasure. We so enjoy seeing your park lit for Jesus’ birth. We met Charley and Jeanette Erickson. What a pleasure and blessing that was. They helped us to know this wonderful little town even more. We also met and enjoyed visiting with a business owner, Jim Gordon!

Thank you for such a great town to visit in the state of California. We sent a small donation to the Chamber of Commerce for your community as we enjoyed it so much and want to be able to visit your town in future trips

May God bless your community in 2012!

" This is the kind of publicity this town needs more of! No one is pushing buttons to get re-elected, or pushing their Democrat Agenda, just being "folks" is what life in KRV is all about! Let's help this newspaper and show our appreciation to them when they print real news about our valley and our economy here will again improve. Stop the back biting and "one-up-man-ship" stuff, we need honesty, not grand-standing publicity! Thanks be to God! "

" Thank you to our KRV visitors for writing and to their friend who brought them here in the first place. Thank you to Cheryl Borthick for having such a warm and lovely place to dine. Thank you to Charley and Jeanette Erickson for being such a beautiful, outgoing, Christian couple. Thank you to the Kernville COC for maintaining their Christian business ethic. Thank you to the KVSun for publishing the letter to the editor. People such as those named here are the reason we love living and working and worshipping in the KRV. "
