The Hwy 14 sign directing visitors to the valley is under repair due wind damage over the past several years.

The Hwy 14 sign directing visitors to the valley is under repair. Framing was completed on Friday by McAnally Construction. New signage to be in place in the near future. Grant money received by the Kern River Valley and Kernville Chambers of Commerce funded the project.

    " There's surely nothing safe about using ladders that don't reach the top of the framing, nor with having workers sitting on top of a framed wall. I don't know who the contractor is, but, CalOSHA should visit. "
