My apology

Published on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 10:19 PM PST

On Monday, Feb. 22, at about 9:30 a.m., I was driving on Hwy178 from Southlake to Isabella. I made a left turn onto Lake Isabella Blvd. directly into the path of an oncoming vehicle. The driver expertly swerved to avoid a collision causing two other automobiles to swerve also. I didn’t see the car coming due to dark sunglasses I was wearing. I thank you for your quick action to avoid a horrible accident. I sincerely apologize for my carelessness.

" I must say that I agree that it takes an extremely classy & humble person to not only 'know' that they had made a mistake but to also go the extra mile by contacting the masses via the paper to allow the apology to get to the appropriate parties.
I hope all who read this take to heart, that it doesnt take any more effort to take the high road & be classy than it does to flip someone the bird (especially when you have been wrong) "DO UNTO OTHERS.......* "
