It takes a village

I  want to thank everyone who made the 2010 SPA Melodrama the great success it was. First of course the hard working cast who gave up several months worth of Saturdays plus many other hours to memorize lines and bring their characters to completion. The entire show rested upon your performances and you all came through. Special thanks to Josh David Burns for stepping at literally the last minute and bringing the character of the Hero to our production.

Special thanks to the crew who kept the show running. Lighting, sound and musical accompaniment are vital to the entire production, and as usual our crew came through.  Thanks to Kernville School for our venue, and the wonderful audiences for “cheering”, “booing” and saying “ahhhh” at the appropriate times.  It made the whole melodrama great fun.  And thanks to the newspapers for their fine publicity.

Finally special thanks to Becky Smith for her inspired direction, keeping us on our toes, and creating the whole atmosphere of the set and costumes. Catch us on the internet at: www.sierraarts.net
