Seventh grade Wallace Colts lose twice to end the regular season

Taking on two tough opponents proved to be an uphill battle for the Wallace seventh grade boys squad.

They would lose to Monroe 19-11 on Feb. 16 and then two days later they lost to Murray 26-12.

Against Monroe, the Colts (3-3 league) were led by Keaton Kissack with six points and four rebounds. Gordon Harris and Josh Pearman each had two points, while Jared Onstott finished with one point.

Pearman grabbed four boards, while Kyle Flynn and Dustin Wagner each pulled down three rebounds. Chase Oden had one board, while Kissack and Shane Hawk handed out one assist each.

Harris blocked two shots, while Wagner, Onstott and Pearman each blocked one opponent’s shot attempt.

The game against Murray saw Flynn and Ryan Reiswig share the team lead in scoring with four points apiece. Sam Adams and Pearman each scored two points.

On the boards, Flynn grabbed five rebounds to lead the squad. Kissack, Harris, Wagner and Pearman each had two boards, while Hawk and Oden had one each. Reiswig and Hawk handed out one assist apiece. Kissack, Harris, Wagner, Onstott and Flynn had one blocked shot apiece.
