Seventh grade Colts clobber Immanuel Christian

Wallace had an easy time in picking up the win over Immanuel Christian.

The seventh grade Colts started slow, but came on in the second half to produce the lop-sided 28-7 victory.

The teams were seperated by two points at the break, but Wallace came on strong offensively in the third.

The Colts dropped in 14 points, while the defense held Immanuel Christian scoreless. With a big 22-6 lead, the Colts cruised to the win.

For Wallace, Keaton Kissack and Shane Hawk shared the team lead in scoring with eight points apiece.

David Hudson added four points, while Sam Adams, Dustin Wagner, Jared Onstott and Kyle Flynn each scored two points.

Gordon Harris was the rebounding leader as he pulled down four boards.

Adams, Onstott and Flynn each had three rebounds, while Wagner and Josh Pearman each had two boards.

At the Bear Mountain Tournament, the seventh grade Colts had a tough run as they were beaten in consecutive games. They lost the first one 38-16 to Jacobsen and followed up with a 34-16 loss to Lincoln.

Taking on their valley rival in South Fork, the Colts came home with the 26-14 win.

Colts scoring: Kissack 8, Chase Oden 4, Flynn 4, Hawk 2, Adams 2, Onstott 2, Pearman 2.

Rebounding: Flynn 6, Pearman 4, Kissack 2, Harris 2, Oden 2.

The eighth grade Wallace Colts (4-0) remained undefeated in league play as they were able to come away with the 42-21 win over the South Fork Mustangs.

Josh Blunkall had the hot hand as he dropped in 20 points to lead Wallace.

Evan Moore followed with 16 points, while Dillion Lingenfelter, Taylor Cross and Chris Stephens each scored two points.

Blunkall completed his double-double in the contest as he pulled down a team high 12 rebounds.

Quinn Bohn grabbed nine boards, while Moore had eight rebounds.
