Having way too much fun

Wow! What a great experience it has been being involved in this years race for Whiskey Flat Mayor!

First I would like to compliment Jill Thurman on her beautiful hat! Now you probably don’t know which one I’m talking about because she wore so many as “Kernville Jill,” campaign manager for TurnCoat Chris, president of the Kernville Chamber, and guest writer of Mayor shenanigans for the Kern Valley Sun. Where does she find the time to run her business in Kernville? Bravo Jill!

Another busy lady I truly enjoyed was Cimarron Cynthia. She left her running mates speechless on more than one occasion with her sharp tongue and quick wit.

Crazy TurnCoat Chris has his heart in the right place but should probably save his money, seeing as he enjoys putting his foot in his mouth so much he is bound to do it again and soon!

Of course I am partial to the tall, blue-eyed Tenderfoot Tony; that man was born to be Whiskey Flat Mayor!

I have never had so much fun or met so many great people! Thank you all for the great privilege of working with you to raise money for such worthy cases that will benefit the youth of the valley!

" when I submitted this opinion to the KV Sun, it said Jill Thurman was a writer for the said paper. The sun changed my letter to say she was the guest writer of mayor shenanigans. I dont know why they felt the need to correct me considering that she wrote the front page news on Feb. 17th as "Jill Thurman". All candidates and campaign managers were not given that same oppertunity, only one. "
