Rex Emerson, KRV Chamber of Commerce

If you would like to get to know your business partners better, the officers and Board of Directors of your Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce invite you to lunch at El Portal Restaurant on Wednesday, March 10. We will be ordering off the menu and hope to see as many of you as possible.

If you would like to make a presentation, please contact the chamber office at (760) 379-5236 or you can contact Fred Roach via email at froach@verizon.net.

Seating may be limited; please RSVP.

The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce took delivery of a third load of Alpers trout two weeks ago, once again, I want to say thank you generosity of the community. We will be recieving a forth load of Alpers trout prior to the start of the 21st Annual Isabella Lake Fishing Derby.

With the derby just a few short weeks away, it is looking to be yet another exciting event. Get all your derby information at: http://derby.kernrivervalley.com

The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce will be hosting our annual Casino Night, Saturday, April 10, at the Senior Citizens Center, in Lake Isabella. We are looking for volunteers who can lend a helping hand at our event to do a number of tasks. If you are able to help, please contact our office at (760) 379-5236 or email us at: office@kernrivervalley.com

Before I close, I would like to make clarification with regard to a blog post on the Kern Valley Sun website. A blogger stated the Exchange Club presented Lanny and Cheryl Borthick the Man and Woman of the Year award, when in fact, it was the Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Once again, my sincerest Thank You to all of you that

support your Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Rex Emerson, President

Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce
