Today it seems that everyone in government has an answer for what ails us.
Everything from, “Hey, let us take care of you,” to “We’ll feed, house, and educate you.” We ask, “How will you do all of that?”

When government gives, it’s usually not long before they begin to take away. Take away in small ways, but they are a huge machine and they can afford to move in small, unassuming ways. Eventually, a meeting between George Orwell’s “1984” and his “Animal Farm,” whether intentionally or not could be in our future.
Not all politicians are bad, not all are corrupt and not all are looking to turn our best interest or our needs into something that slinks into their pockets. They try to run interference for us, but there are too few of them to hold fast. Those that do, hit walls that seem insurmountable at times. To these men and women we need to rally our support. We are all ready starting to lose them.
I am not a fancy, buzz word using, double talking political analyst or a politician, but straight out——don’t you think we need to get back some of the responsibility we’ve allowed government hacks to take from us.
Under the guise of “Let us make life better for you as only government can.”, they are moving into almost every aspect of our lives. Our independence is being taken away. Maybe even at a more rapid rate than ever before.
When the authors of the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the many other articles of laws that were a part of the new political landscape over 200 years ago drew up those documents it is highly unlikely that they envisioned that our government would turn into this! After all, the type of control that is growing today was what they wanted to break free from back then. The stifling hand of government reliance pushed the colonies away.
No matter what your political party is, lines are being crossed. Boundaries are being smeared and positions are being overstepped. When will enough be enough?
When will we stop this out of control eating machine from tearing at our country? Forget that garbage about how everyone in power is trying their best, if this is their best, we need men and women with better. Just trying your best is not good enough for a person whose job it is to make sure that those that they represent are being done so in the way they want. “Fired”, comes to mind on several levels. It is a blatant breach of contract when a representative fails the people who put him in his job.
We are in a depression. We are in dire straights. We are fed up to here with this nonsense! Critisms, studies of this or that, petitions and griping, have all outlived their effectiveness. Now it’s time for the proverbial axe to fall. Layoffs and job losses need to start in Washington! From the top down. Out with what we’ve got and in with what we want.
Where do they come from? What is their voting record? What is their background? Know the real person that you are voting for. Integrity, honesty, and a realistic view of their positions as a job that they could lose if they stink. All of us who work know that any day we could lose our job if we don’t do what we were hired to do and the way that our employer wants us to do it. To all politicians out there, remember, terms can end, you could be voted out. Do your jobs! Don’t promise to take care of us, help us to take care of ourselves!
We will be out in force in 2012. The majority of you are on a job search and we are potential employers, don’t blow it for yourselves or for us. We are the America that started those 234 years ago! We will hire you, and we can fire you.Right from the top man, on down through the ranks. Don’t mess with us anymore! No more lying, no more telling us what you think we want to hear. Forget the rhetoric that could end up on a bumper sticker! It’s make or break time for our entire country. Game over! Knuckle down and make it work. We will help you!
