Hazel B. Steele

    Hazel B. Steele passed away peacefully on Feb. 23, 2010, at the Skilled Nursing Facility in Mt. Mesa.

    She is survived by her two sons, Bob Chrisman and and wife Barbara of Wofford Heights; Dean Steele and wife Julie of Santa Monica; three grandchildren, Carey Chrisman and wife Jennifer of Calabasas; Kelly Chrisman and wife Joni of Santa Monica; and Shelby Cowling and husband Lance of San Diego. She also had seven great-grandchildren, Lance II, Chasen, Cage, Chance, Pryce, Isabella and Caden.

    We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the people at Hoffman Hospice, especially Julie, Elisabeth, Kris, Bonnie, Jason and Jack.


Also a special thank you to the staff at Skilled Nursing. They made her final time with us safe, comfortable and more importantly, dignified.
