Thanks for the Camp KEEP experience

Editor’s note: The following letters of thanks to the community were written by students at Woodrow Wallace Middle School who spent a week at Camp KEEP.

Thank you very much Kern River Valley. I really appreciate all you have done for us. My favorite part of Camp KEEP was seeing the elephant seals. The naturalists were awesome and they taught us lots of stuff. So thank you for the help!

The Wallace Middle School sixth graders are still crazy from coming back from Camp KEEP, Cambria. Of course, I don’t blame them, I mean imagine it, tide pools, mudflats, forest. sand beaches, and best of all the great food. So if you see a sixth grader from Wallace ask them how it was.

Good food, ocean sounds, and the great outdoors, it was fun while it lasted and very interesting. We learned a lot and saw cool animals. People got homesick and people got hurt, but that’s why we’re survivors! Our week at KEEP was awesome.
