Rex Emerson
President, KRV Chamber of Commerce

The Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year! With 2010 now upon us, we are looking forward to the fresh start that comes with a new year. Some may be very hopeful of a better year ahead, others may be a little more apprehensive. In either case, we remain focused with the task at hand.

To be successful, we need more communication, more cooperation, and more focus on local issues. While we represent the entire valley, we have an extraordinary group of talented and driven individuals living and doing business here. We have the resources to make big things happen. In order to that we need more input and involvement from the entire community.

Realizing the difficult economic conditions we are all working through, if you are not already a member, I do ask you to consider becoming a member, or renewing your membership with the Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce. If there was ever a time our valley needed a strong chamber, it is now. Our valley’s strength comes from all of you!

Again, the strength of your chamber of commerce is dependent upon you, please give us your feedback and support so we can continue to move forward and be a stronger voice for our valley.

As we begin our work this year, please feel free to contact the chamber at (760) 379-5236 or email me directly at rex.emerson@kernrivervalley.com.
