'Blue Jackets, Bright Futures,' is a phrase that is pumping up thousands of FFA members from all over the nation. It is now time for the 80th National FFA Convention, which will be held on October 24-27 in Indianapolis, Indiana. This year we have eight members going. We have three American degree recipients. This year Justin Click, Josh Rushing, and Kaysi Scott will join an elite group of FFA members who have received the American Degree. Less than 1% of all FFA members from throughout the nation receive this degree, which is the highest degree that the National FFA Organization can award.

In addition, Kern Valley FFA is proud to have one National Proficiency finalist. Sarah Richter is going to be competing for the National Agriculture Communications Proficiency Award. Sarah won the state last year and went on to Nationals, where she was selected as one of the best four projects in the Nation. We wish her luck at Nationals!

看Also representing Kern Valley and California FFA is National Delegate and State Treasurer, Aubrey Bull. In addition, five chapter members, Jamy Bulgarelli, Jake Heflin, Tara Hayes, Holly Largent and Glenn Sailors will be attending as chapter representatives. There is expected to be over 55,000 members attending this conference. It should be an amazing week for these students. 看看看看
