Kern County Library’s Director of Libraries, Diane Duquette, announced today, 'We are so pleased to offer our library users a new array of 30 new subscription databases on our website from Gale Thomson Company.

These resources will help people find the answers to various questions on many subjects in addition to our reference question answering service at all branches. The databases are just one more service that allows more convenient access to up-to-date information on a variety of subjects such as business, criminal justice, environmental, gardening, health, home improvement, nursing, and much more!'

The new databases are available online and accessible through the 'Electronic Resources' link from Kern County Library’s website www.kerncountylibrary.org. These databases are available at all Kern County Library branches or remotely to library users from their home or business with Internet access. All you need is an active library card available from any branch with current identification and proof of current residence.
